My love for Brutalism began whilst studying A-Level Art and History, where I explored both the aesthetic and cultural interest of concrete and Brutalist architecture. It has been the perfect subject to experiment with, helping me to explore painting, print, graphic design, ceramics and sculpture. I also have enjoyed researching and writing about the subject, as an undergraduate history student. My passions for this controversial material have inspired me to visit architecture in London, Poland and my home city, Norwich. My favourite architects include Le Corbusier, Lina Bo Bardi, Moshe Sadie. And artists that have encouraged my own personal studies include, Ai Wei Wei, David Hepher, Rachel Whiteread and Graham Martin.
